“Our internal resources are soon to be depleted, and a real tragedy will begin. We will soon start collecting the bodies of those who have died from hunger and cold. We cannot continue in the same manner. Now, when the people of Artsakh are facing the gravest danger, when the physical security of our people is not only not guaranteed but there is a deadly risk of physical annihilation, we must initiate a popular movement.
I urge the people of Armenia to reconsider their steps and future actions and refrain from taking steps that would lead to the destruction of Armenian Artsakh and the Armenians of Artsakh.
The situation is now incredibly difficult; the people of Artsakh are confronted with serious problems, and this catastrophe must be prevented. Artsakh has exceptional significance for the Armenian people and Armenian statehood; it belongs not only to the people of Artsakh. Therefore, all of us must join in this sacred mission of protecting Artsakh.
We are grateful to Russia for its efforts to cease the war, but we are concerned that the needs of peacekeepers are being met with helicopters in Artsakh, which is under a complete blockade. There are many questions, but our request is simple: ensure the unhindered movement of transportation, as stipulated in the document of November 9.
Tomorrow(June 14th – edit.), all of us, as one person, will gather at 9 a.m. in Stepanakert Square, where we will decide what to do. We will not leave or give up Artsakh,” stated the State Minister of Artsakh, Gurgen Nersisyan, in his message.
