The automotive factory in Armenia, established by Iran’s leading automaker “Iran Khodro Industrial,” holds strong ties with renowned French giants like Peugeot and Renault.
The majority of vehicles produced by this company are based on Peugeot platforms, with 10% of parts imported from France while the rest are crafted locally using French technology. It is now know, that the following cars will be manufactured in Armenia:
SsangYong Motor Company, a South Korean automotive manufacturer, has recently undergone a change in ownership, leading to a rebranding as KG.
Moreover, there are exciting prospects for establishing a direct representation of the French automotive industry in Armenia. The potential is vast, but ensuring top-notch quality and smooth processes is vital.
“We hope to maximize this opportunity and transform Armenia into a hub for manufacturing and exporting Iranian goods to Europe and the EAEU,” says a representative from Iran’s automotive industry.
