Once again, Ilham Aliyev has leveled accusations against France, stating, “France, which presents itself as a defender of human rights and international law, continues to interfere in the internal affairs of other countries.”
Furthermore, Aliyev demanded that France apologize for its “colonial past and bloody colonial crimes.”
He also addressed Armenia, highlighting the situation in the Karabakh region: “Although Armenia was forced to recognize Karabakh as part of Azerbaijan, there are still remnants of Armenian armed forces present in the territory of Azerbaijan, where Russian peacekeepers are temporarily stationed. If Armenia is genuinely interested in achieving long-awaited peace in the region, its armed forces must completely withdraw from the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan. Armenian military and paramilitary formations on the ground should be disarmed and demobilized.”
