Renowned international law expert, former Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC), and lecturer at Harvard and Yale Universities, Luis Moreno Ocampo, has responded to the request of Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan to provide an expert opinion on whether the blockade constitutes genocide, as reported by “Artsakhpress” citing the press secretary of the Artsakh President, Lusine Avanesyan.
Ocampo emphasized that due to the urgency of the issue, including the threat of hunger to 120,000 Armenians, he will publish the report within one week, and he asked President Harutyunyan to inform him of any new circumstances that “might impact the analysis.”
