A fruit and vegetable processing company operating in Armenia, thanks to new equipment and production lines acquired under a state subsidy program, has expanded its production capacity threefold, reaching 1 million canned jars per year. Approximately 80% of these products are destined for export to Europe and the USA.
This achievement was made possible through the government program that subsidizes leasing in the agricultural sector. Around 700 entrepreneurs have already benefited from this program, acquiring a total of 2,410 units of modern equipment. Over the course of five years since its launch, the program’s overall portfolio has exceeded 37 billion Armenian drams (approximately $92 million), with subsidies amounting to 5.2 billion Armenian drams from the state budget.
