The Speaker of the Armenian Parliament presented the humanitarian crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh due to Azerbaijan’s blockade of the Lachin corridor to his French counterpart, Gerard Larcher.
The discussion also touched upon the resolutions initiated and adopted by the French Senate, condemning the Azerbaijani-Turkish aggression against Nagorno-Karabakh, the imposition of sanctions on Azerbaijan, and the immediate withdrawal of Azerbaijani forces from Armenian territory.
Simonyan expressed hope for France’s support in the event of any new aggression.
