The EU’s Committee on Policy and Security has approved Canada’s financial contribution to support the European Union Monitoring Mission in Armenia. The decision was published on the EU Council’s website.
On February 20, 2023, the EU launched the Civilian Mission in Armenia (EUMA) under the framework of the Common Security and Defence Policy. The mission’s headquarters is situated in Yeghegnadzor and includes six operational bases with a small liaison office in Yerevan.
