During his official visit to the United States, Lieutenant General Edward Asryan, the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia, and the First Deputy Minister of Defense, actively participated in a conference commemorating the 30th anniversary of the U.S. National Guard’s Cooperation Program.
The event provided valuable opportunities for meetings with key figures, including General Daniel Hokanson, Chief of the National Guard Bureau; Major General Daniel Laska, Director of U.S. European Command for Strategy, Planning, and Policy; and Brigadier General Michael Venerdi, the Adjutant General of the Kansas National Guard.
Discussions centered around the current status and prospects for enhancing the Armenia-Kansas partnership within the framework of their state cooperation, addressing various bilateral issues with the United States.
