On the outskirts of the capital, for more than a year, the construction of the new Defense microdistrict has been underway, which will include 116 residential buildings for 45,000 residents, underground parking lots, schools, kindergartens, a business complex, a medical center, a sports complex, etc.
A forest park will be laid out on 20 out of 140 hectares of the total area of the district. About 1,500 perennial trees brought from Italy have already been planted, and it is planned to plant the same number before the end of the year.
About 3,000 workers are involved at the construction site , with the launch of the second phase of the project (already this year), this number will double.
It is expected that the implementation of only the first stage of the project will replenish the country’s state budget by $200-250 million.
