The statement notes that the risks of renewed violence in the region are increasing.
“Currently, international efforts are being made to reduce the risk of another full-scale war, including by representatives of the US State Department.”
The commission added that during the hearings, the necessary measures for the proper protection of the vulnerable ethnic population of Artsakh will be discussed and proposals regarding US policy will be presented.
